Description
Handmade to order sliding farmhouse barn style door with black steel industrial style runner, handmade from genuine locally sourced reclaimed wood.
The Archer is a rustic sliding door with authentic farmhouse feel, which boasts natural imperfections like knots, weathering, and unique grain patterns, adding individuality and character to your piece. Door comes with wooden handle and black metal flush handle. Prices are dependant on the rail size you require. Handmade to order.
Door will be coated in stain of choice with the final coat finished in Osmo clear oil. Please state if door will be exposed to a higher level of moisture (i.e. bathrooms) and we will coat this in exterior oil to protect the piece. Example pictured is in the Osmo Natural oil.
Pictures of the example pieces may slightly vary, as each piece of reclaimed wood is different and reacts differently to stains/oils. The time of the year also has an effect on the woods natural colour too.
The unit pictured measures approx W75 cm, H 195cm, and thickness of 3.5cm. Handle is approx 14cm in length.
Your item can be handmade to order & can be built to your exact specifications. Door rail in the main picture is 200cm in length. Each door rail hook (attached to the door) is approximately 30 cm in height. Rail is approximately 5cm in height. CHOOSING THE RIGHT RAIL SIZE:
1. Decide on what rail space you need for the door. As a rule, the rail length needs to be double of your required door width in order to open it fully.
2. Choose the rail length from the drop down menu (the prices are dependant on the rail size)
3. Choose the finish of your choice
4. Confirm your specific door dimensions in the buyer notes section upon checkout. If no notes or follow up messages are made, we will make this to the standard size of 73cm width and 204cm height. As a rule, it is best for the door to be 3-4cm bigger in width and height to ensure it fully covers your door gap when closed.
If you have any questions or specific sizes and are after a unique quote, please confirm what rail size you would require as well.
Please note, the style of handle and rail could be slightly different to the items pictured depending on stock availability. Handles and rail will be sent separately and require attachment upon receipt due to logistical safety reasons. The flush handle pictured will be attached.
Please inform us if floor guides are required.

We do not recommend the doors being hung on plasterboard walls, unless the rail can be attached using the studs behind.
We can also make a pelmet/baton for the rail to sit on in the same timber as the door to help allow door installations with limited ceiling space and/or doors needing to be installed on plasterboard walls. This pelmet can then be drilled into the wooden studs behind. Please add this to the basket if you wish to purchase
Please note, we do not manufacture the door rails/metal hardware supplied with our doors, so any individual installation advice would be limited and we would advise seeking professional advice before installation. However, printed instructions can be found within the hardware, and we will send a short video link for installation of our most popular sized option.
Please Note – For any desk and any table orders – they will be delivered with the legs separate for logistical safety reasons, so will require assembly of the legs upon receipt. Pre drilled holes will be supplied as well as fixings for easy attachment.
Delivery will be a 48hr (working day) courier service from dispatch. If you require a quicker or set day delivery then please get in contact
Our items are made from reclaimed timber so will feature all the characteristics of its previous life such as knots, cracks, scrapes & indentations This adds a level of individuality & character & means that no two pieces will ever be the same. The pieces that we choose will show all the characteristics and charm of reclaimed wood without affecting the structural integrity of your furniture.
As the reclaimed timber adjusts to the conditions in your home, over time there may be slight movement in the wood such as shrinkage between planks, as well as small cracks opening and closing depending on the environment.
All completion dates given are ESTIMATES ONLY, as we are a small team delays can sometimes happen.
Multiple pieces ordered simultaneously will require more time to build.
