How will my desk/table/door be able to get into my house/flat?

We send the legs separately to any table/desk orders. Everything is sent flat packed to make it logistically safer and more importantly, to make easier to get into its new home.

Yes absolutely. We pre drill holes on the underside of any desk and table orders and clearly mark where screws should be inserted. Screws will be supplied with the legs too.

What are your lead times?

Lead times are stated on each product listing. Generally, larger items such as desks, bookcases and dining tables will take longer to build and require longer lead times. This can fluctuate depending on our workload but can be anywhere from 4 weeks onwards. Smaller items such as caddies and trays do not take as long and can be dispatched from a week onwards. Please check on the listing for an up to date lead time.

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Yes, we can ship internationally. To enquire please get in touch with us with what you are after and we’ll can get back to you with a personalised shipping quote.

Are my products suitable for outside?

If you would like a table for outside then just like all outdoor wooden furniture, the better care you take of your table, the longer they will last.

Even though we treat our outdoor furniture to be weatherproof, a rainproof cover is strongly recommended, especially for the winter months or for any periods that the table is not being used. we suggest that you apply a coat of finish once or twice a year.

If you want to keep your piece looking fresh, please get in contact with us and we will happily point you in the right direction.

Quality of reclaimed timber

Our items are made from reclaimed timber so will feature all the characteristics of its previous life such as knots, cracks, scrapes & indentations This adds a level of individuality & character & means that no two pieces will ever be the same.

The pieces that we choose will show all the characteristics and charm of reclaimed wood without affecting the structural integrity of your furniture.

What is the difference between reclaimed wood and redwood?

The redwood pieces we offer (Rose, Wakefield, Root) are made from dense, sturdier pine, ideal for furniture. Although they will have a rustic effect, they are new boards and won’t have as much character as our reclaimed pieces such as knots, marks and grain detail that is commonplace in reclaimed rustic timber.

All of our other furniture is made from 100% reclaimed pine. It will have natural characteristics such as scratches, marks, indentations and more which form its typical rustic charm.

With all wood especially reclaimed, no two pieces will be the same, so there may be slight variations from one piece to the next, or how they are pictured on the website. Some pieces react differently to how they are sanded or stained. This way, you can guarantee your item will be very unique.

What is the thickness of the door wood?

The reclaimed timber we use on these doors, as with most of our furniture, is approx 3.5cm

What is the distance from the top of the door, to the top of the rail system?

Allow approx 5cm from the top of the door to the bottom of the rail.

Is there a mechanism to stop the door sliding off the rail?

Yes, each rail will come with stoppers to be placed where desired on the rail

What accessories come with the sliding barn door?

Each reclaimed wood door will be supplied with the rail of your choice and will be fitted with the recessed handle. We will also supply the pull handle too, which can be placed where desired on the door. This will arrive in a separate parcel along with the rail. Please let us know if you require floor guides.

How heavy are the doors, and can they be placed on plasterboard/stud walls?

Each door obviously is different in weight depending on its size, but on average each door can weigh approx 30kg-35kg. We do not recommend them being hung on plasterboard walls, unless the rail can be attached using the studs behind.

How do I know what size door rail to choose?

As a rule of thumb, to ensure you can open the door fully, we recommend a size that’s double the width of your door providing you have space for the rail/door to open. More information on this can be found on the product listing.

Can you make customisations to the door?

We will of course be open to customisations depending on the nature of them. We will also be happy to stain in alternative finishes if you require, just get in touch.

How will my door be delivered?

For logistical safety reasons, we will send the door separate to the rail/handle and accessories. The rail and pull handle will need installing and attaching upon receipt.

Will my door order come with any instructions?

Yes, each sliding rail will come with these

How far does the door come out from the wall?

Approx 5cm
